Ode to Amber and JoLynne

(from sometime last year, a late-night "road trip" to Albertson's -- five whole blocks away.)

Cheers to Amber and JoLynne, who this week began a new life, a new adventure, a new scary -- they're sharing a mobile home (on a former baseball field) for a year in Mississippi as they help with the continued hurricane recovery effort, community development, documenting their experiences and sharing in some very raw human experiences -- highs and lows, goods and bads.

Girls, I miss you -- but I'm a tad envious, too. I'm not brave enough to do what you're doing; not even to really consider it. You two are my newly nominated superheroes.
