36, 35, 34 ... Musing

Here's a thought:

My parents have known each other 36 years, they've been married 35 years, and they've lived together 34 years ...

It's true.

My parents met 36 years ago -- Sept. 29, 1971, on a bus in Texas. One year, one week and one day later, they got married -- Oct. 7, 1972. And then Dad left for Thailand. For a year.

36 ... 35 ... 34 ...
