Can the sky please fall, now?
If it could go wrong last night, it did. The only thing(s) that might have made it any worse would have been a) our building catching fire, b) Sue's "fluttery" feelings turning into a full-fledged heart attack (again) or c) the press dying in Cheyenne.
I have very good reasons to dislike being in charge ... I was confronted with most of them last night. The buck stops here, and the buck felt more like a speeding brick.
Today, however, as Anne would say, is fresh, though ... it came ready-made with mistakes in it ... but mistakes for which I can make some amends tonight. I hope.
At least there's another warm body helping us put this monster together tonight. I feel better already.
