Mondegreen!

I swear -- I didn't make this one up. And I dearly love to make up new words (and to adopt other people's made-up words).

It's one of the new words that the folks at Merriam-Webster have selected to be entered into the dictionary. Man, I need a gig like that.

This particular new word is a noun and is (finally!) the word to throw at people who mishear/misquote/missing the lyrics to songs. "The ants are my friends?" ("the answer my friend ...") That's such a mondegreen.
