I'd honk for that

"Save the Ales."

It's what was on a bumper sticker in front of me yesterday as I toodled on over to Safeway. I tried to take a picture. While driving. No luck.

And I had to laugh at myself, because being the idiotic proofreader that I am, I was sure it was a typo at first ... and once I finally got it, I kind of wanted a beer.

In a world of "save the owls," "impeach Bush," "free Tibet" and "love your Mother" placards, I think it would be refreshing to see someone waving a "save the ales" sign-on-a-stick at my car.

I'd honk for that.
